Catherine Wilbourn

Catherine Wilbourn graduated cum laude from the University of California Irvine where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She was then honored with a Full Merit Scholarship and obtained her Juris Doctorate from Chapman University, Fowler School of Law with cum laude distinction. While at Chapman, she was President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Negotiation and Mediation Board. Ms. Wilbourn was admitted to the State Bar of California in December 2014.

Prior to joining CW Law, LLP, Ms. Wilbourn was an in-house attorney for a major insurance company. She actively managed an extensive case load from inception through trial or settlement, with a heavy focus on applying legal principals to medical issues in order to successfully litigate claims.

Ms. Wilbourn joined CW Law in 2022 as a Senior Associate Attorney for her specialization in Workers’ Compensation claims and litigation experience. Her know-how, background, and unique approach to claim handling through all stages of the litigation process make her an extraordinary addition to CW Law.

Ms. Wilbourn was promoted to Partner in January 2024. Since joining CW Law, she has made an immediate impact to the success ofthe firm. Ms. Wilbourn’s accomplishment is a testament to her hard work and dedication to both the firm and her clients.

In Catherine’s free time, she enjoys competitive horseback riding and traveling.
