James Lim

James Lim completed his undergraduate with a degree in Political Science from University of California, Irvine. He earned his Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School where he was actively involved in the Moot Court Honors Board and the Trial Advocacy Honors Board. Mr. Lim is a Certified Workers’ Compensation Law Specialist through the State Bar of California and has been a member since 2014.

Mr. Lim joins CW Law with 8 years of Workers’ Compensation experience where he was a Partner at his prior firm. He aggressively defended insurance companies, self-insured employers, and claims organizations from a wide breadth of industries including retail, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, and construction.

Mr. Lim joined CW Law as a Senior Associate attorney in 2024. He continues to leverage his extensive experience to defend clients in all facets of Workers’ Compensation litigation. His strategic approach and dedication to client service have made him a valuable asset. He is committed to advancing his legal knowledge and staying abreast of the latest developments in Workers' Compensation law.

 In James’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, supporting his local teams (go Angels!), Formula 1, and golfing.
